Role Overview
The employer is seeking an experienced QA/QC Engineer with strong knowledge of piling and soil improvement works.
The role covers quality control, quality documentation, inspection coordination, site testing, Method Statements, and consultant approvals.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Project Quality Plans and QA/QC procedures for piling and soil improvement works.
- Prepare WIRs and coordinate consultant inspections, approvals, and follow-ups.
- Coordinate with site teams, consultants, laboratories, and subcontractors on project compliance.
- Conduct site QC inspections, testing, and quality assessments.
- Prepare testing reports, inspection reports, test results, and assessment documentation.
- Prepare Method Statements for piling, pile testing, soil improvement, and related construction activities.
- Review specifications, drawings, ITPs, Method Statements, and quality requirements.
- Coordinate approvals for quality documents, material submissions, inspection requests, and testing procedures.
- Monitor work against approved procedures and specifications.
- Maintain records of inspections, approvals, NCRs, observations, corrective actions, and close-out documentation.
- Coordinate third-party laboratories and testing agencies.
- Participate in quality meetings and coordinate with HSE and site teams for safe, compliant execution.
