- Conduct reverse engineering by inspecting components using measuring instruments such as linear, angular, and Portable CMM
- Prepare drawings and submit them to engineering for review and approval
- Oversee First Article Inspection (FAI) for every new manufacturing process
- Perform inspections at all stages, document inspection reports, and highlight any issues observed
- Raise Non Conformance Reports (NCR) if parts do not meet requirements
- Follow up with relevant personnel to ensure timely closure of NCRs, including detailed root cause analysis, corrections, and corrective actions approved by the Quality Manager
- Demonstrate dimensional inspection using CMM
- Review quality requirements for inspections to ensure all inspections meet customer and standard requirements
- Visit customer sites to gather inputs for new product development
- Document inspection results and prepare QA reports
- Ensure no parts leave the GulfTek facility without complete inspections
Requirements
- Experience in dimensional inspection using CMM and other measuring instruments
- Ability to conduct reverse engineering by inspecting components
- Experience with First Article Inspection (FAI)
- Ability to raise and follow up on Non Conformance Reports (NCR)
- Knowledge of quality requirements and standards
- Ability to document inspection results and prepare QA reports
