Responsibilities
- Develop, program, test, and troubleshoot PLC based automation systems
- Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance of electrical control panels, PLC systems, and CNC machines
- Diagnose and resolve issues related to electrical, automation, and control systems to minimize downtime
- Configure, commission, and maintain field devices including sensors, actuators, VFDs, flow meters, and process instrumentation
- Interpret and modify electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, control panel layouts, and P&IDs
- Develop and maintain PLC programs using IEC 61131 3 programming languages
- Perform PLC and HMI modifications, testing, and system commissioning
- Troubleshoot communication networks and industrial protocols between PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, and field instruments
- Support machine upgrades, retrofits, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and industry regulations
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation including PLC backups, electrical drawings, and maintenance records
- Coordinate with production, maintenance, and engineering teams to improve equipment reliability and process efficiency
Requirements
- Experience in PLC programming and electrical engineering
- Proficiency in IEC 61131 3 programming languages (Ladder Diagram, Structured Text, etc.)
- Ability to interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and P&IDs
- Experience with preventive and corrective maintenance of electrical control panels and PLC systems
- Knowledge of industrial communication networks and protocols
- Familiarity with CNC machines is a plus

- Perform PLC and HMI modifications, testing, and system commissioning.

- Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards, company procedures, and applicable industry regulations.
