About the Role
A confidential company in Abu Dhabi is hiring a QA/QC Engineer (Civil) to implement project quality plans, manage inspection test plans, and coordinate with clients and subcontractors.

Responsibilities
- Review, communicate and implement the Project Quality Plan on site
- Develop checklists and inspection test plans for site works
- Review work procedures and material technical specifications for compliance
- Raise Non Conformance Reports (NCRs) and communicate quality noncompliance issues
- Develop and implement corrective and preventive actions
- Manage the Site QA/QC Teams
- Coordinate with material testing laboratory for material testing
- Participate in regular site meetings with Client and Client's Representative
- Define applicable Client's requirements to Suppliers and Subcontractors
- Ensure quality records are correctly maintained on site
Requirements
- 8 12 years of experience in QA/QC for civil construction
- Experience in implementing Project Quality Plans on site
- Knowledge of developing checklists and inspection test plans
- Ability to raise and manage Non Conformance Reports (NCRs)
- Experience coordinating with material testing laboratories
- Familiarity with Company Quality Management System implementation

- Raise Non Conformance Reports (NCRs) when necessary and communicate quality noncompliance issues to Project Manager
- Develop and implement corrective and preventive actions to stop further recurrence
- Ensure all NCRs are adequately monitored and concerns dealt with effectively
- Manage the Site QA/QC Teams
- Coordinate with material testing laboratory for material testing in accordance with project requirements
- Participate in regular site meetings with Client and Client's Representative
- Define applicable Client's requirements to Suppliers and Subcontractors
- Ensure Suppliers and Subcontractors meet project specified quality requirements
- Manage the quality inspection process of work and materials on site
Requirements
- 8 12 years of experience in QA/QC for civil construction
- Experience in implementing Project Quality Plans on site
- Knowledge of developing checklists and inspection test plans
- Ability to raise and manage Non Conformance Reports (NCRs)
- Experience coordinating with material testing laboratories
- Familiarity with Company Quality Management System implementation
