The employer is hiring a QA/QC Engineer for building construction projects in Dubai.
The role ensures construction activities comply with established quality standards and project specifications.
Experience and Qualifications
- Minimum two years of proven QA/QC Engineer experience in building construction within the GCC.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and quality control practices.
- Familiarity with building codes, safety regulations, and local standards is required; UAE experience is preferred.
- Proficiency in QA/QC software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent attention to detail, analytical ability, organization, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
- A bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is required.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality control procedures and inspection plans.
- Review compliance with project specifications, building codes, and safety regulations.
- Inspect and audit materials, work processes, and completed construction.
- Monitor subcontractors and suppliers for adherence to quality standards.
- Identify non-conformities and initiate corrective actions.
- Maintain inspection reports, test results, and audit reports.
- Coordinate with project and site teams to resolve quality-related issues.
- Test construction materials for compliance with project specifications.
- Assist with quality plans and risk assessments.
- Conduct site visits and train site staff in quality control procedures.
