The client is hiring a Civil Project Engineer for its team in Dubai, UAE.
The position is also identified as Project Engineer- Civil and requires a minimum of five years of similar experience in the UAE.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from an accredited university or college.
- Five years of experience as a site engineer, civil engineer, or equivalent role in Dubai.
- Five years of experience as a project engineer or senior site engineer is required.
- Five years of UAE building construction experience is required.
- Five years of AutoCAD experience is required.
- G+4 or G+12 Dubai license is required.
- Experience managing and supervising construction projects.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, GIS, AutoCAD, and other software.
- Knowledge of construction methods, steel structures, materials, and regulations.
- Ability to assess, interpret, and present survey reports and critical data.
- Project management, organizational, problem-solving, decision-making, communication, teamwork, and attention-to-detail skills.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage construction activities at the site in accordance with project specifications, codes, and safety regulations.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and identify potential issues.
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and subcontractors to support timely project completion.
- Analyze engineering plans, aerial photography, blueprints, topographical and geologic data, and technical drawings.
- Coordinate procurement and delivery of construction materials and verify compliance with industry standards.
- Identify risks and implement preventive measures to reduce delays, cost overruns, and safety hazards.
- Maintain progress reports, site diaries, change orders, quality control records, and other project documentation.
