Project Manager – Building Construction (DM Licensed)

Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and deliver construction projects in compliance with approved drawings, specifications, timelines, and budgets.
• Ensure adherence to Dubai Municipality regulations, building codes, statutory requirements, and environmental standards.
• Manage procurement, subcontractors, resource allocation, scheduling, costs, and project progress reporting.
• Lead site teams and supervise engineers, foremen, and subcontractors to achieve milestones.
• Resolve technical issues, risks, and conflicts and liaise with consultants, clients, and authorities for approvals and permits.
• Maintain quality and safety standards and ensure optimal resource utilisation.

Requirements

• Valid Dubai Municipality License G+12 or G+Unlimited is mandatory.
• Minimum 6 years of experience handling building construction projects in Dubai.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Proven experience managing high-rise or large-scale building projects from inception to completion.
• Strong knowledge of Dubai Municipality regulations, local construction laws, and approval processes.
• Excellent leadership, communication, team management, and deadline management skills.
• Proficiency in project management tools, MS Office, AutoCAD, and Primavera or MS Project.

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities are preferred.
• Client interaction and long-term relationship-building experience are preferred.
• Cost control and contract management experience are preferred.
• The experience section also states five years of UAE building construction field experience and five years as a Project Engineer or Project Manager.
