Job Purpose
Control and monitor the quality of architectural works.
Ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, material submittals, method statements, mockups, ITPs, samples, and project quality requirements.
Functional Responsibilities
- Review drawings, specifications, submittals, method statements, ITPs, and samples.
- Inspect architectural works including finishes, flooring, stone or marble, painting, drywall, ceilings, doors, façade or cladding, waterproofing interfaces, and fit-out works.
- Prepare and review WIRs, MIRs, inspection checklists, ITPs, and quality records.
- Raise NCRs or SORs for non-conforming works and follow up corrective actions.
- Coordinate inspections with site, construction, technical office, procurement, consultant, and subcontractor teams.
- Participate in mockup inspections, snagging, de-snagging, and final handover.
Required Technical Knowledge
- Architectural construction and finishing work.
- Architectural materials, installation requirements, mockup and sample approval, and material inspection.
- WIR/MIR procedures, ITPs, inspection checklists, NCR/SOR management, and method statements.
- Waterproofing interfaces, finishing tolerances, workmanship requirements, and specification compliance.
- Snagging, handover, and construction QA/QC systems.
