- Drive non functional, performance, and reliability testing for high load backend services
- Use observability tools to investigate production issues and collaborate on root cause analysis
- Improve test infrastructure, quality metrics, and engineering processes to increase release confidence
Requirements
- Experience leading QA for distributed backend services
- Expertise in automated testing frameworks and CI/CD integration
- Knowledge of performance and reliability testing
- Ability to mentor QA engineers

Role Overview
- QA Backend Tech Lead will drive QA strategy and best practices across QIC's backend ecosystem.
- Part of the Core team ensuring quality of the insurance platform and distributed backend services.
- Core team develops the backend platform powering QIC's insurance products and expanding lifestyle services.
