Responsibilities
- Develop and implement purchasing strategies for materials, supplies, and services.
- Collaborate with Sales and other departments to align supply with demand.
- Use ERP or MRP systems and spreadsheets to manage inventory and create reports.
- Monitor market trends, pricing, and supplier performance.
- Supervise the purchasing team and manage daily activities.
- Identify new sources of supply and assist with purchasing policies and procedures.
- Manage a vendor portfolio and execute purchase orders.
- Perform other duties as required.
