Role overview
Manage the hotel's day-to-day purchasing activities.
Ensure timely availability of quality products at competitive prices.
Key responsibilities
- Purchase food, beverages, housekeeping, engineering, and hotel operating supplies.
- Source and evaluate suppliers and obtain competitive quotations.
- Negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
- Prepare and process purchase orders according to hotel requirements.
- Coordinate with hotel departments to understand purchasing needs.
- Follow up with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries.
- Check prices, quality, quantity, and specifications of purchased items.
- Maintain supplier records, quotations, and purchasing documents.
- Coordinate with Stores, Receiving, and Finance regarding deliveries and invoices.
- Monitor stock levels and support cost control.
- Maintain supplier relationships and follow hotel purchasing policies and procedures.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of purchasing experience.
- Hotel or hospitality purchasing experience is preferred.
- Good negotiation and communication skills.
- Knowledge of suppliers, hotel supplies, and procurement procedures.
- Good computer skills, especially MS Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
Compensation
- The posting lists pay of QAR 2,489.66 to QAR 6,303.02 per month.
- The posting also lists a budget of 3.5k to 4k.

- Work location is in person.
