Responsibilities

• Prepare and process purchase orders and maintain accurate purchasing records.
• Request and review quotations and compare prices and terms.
• Assist with vendor selection according to company policies and budget requirements.
• Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of equipment and spare parts.
• Track order status and resolve delivery or invoice discrepancies.
• Update procurement and inventory systems.
• Prepare basic purchasing reports and support audits and compliance requirements.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of purchasing processes.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of purchasing processes, purchasing fundamentals, and procurement workflows.
• Ability to prepare, review, and manage purchase orders accurately and in compliance with company guidelines.
• Experience or training in procurement activities, including sourcing, quotations, and vendor coordination.
• Effective communication skills for working with suppliers, logistics providers, and internal stakeholders.
• Attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple orders and deadlines.
• Proficiency in MS Office and basic ERP or procurement systems.
• Familiarity with marine, industrial, or oil and gas equipment is an advantage.
• A diploma or bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
• Ability to work on-site in Dubai and adhere to safety and compliance standards.
