Position Overview
The role is for an Electronics Purchaser and Product Sourcing professional.
The main focus is new product discovery, sourcing, supplier coordination, sample evaluation, negotiation, and product development.
This is not a routine procurement or purchase-order role.
Key Responsibilities
- Research and identify new and trending electronics products.
- Source mobile accessories, gadgets, consumer electronics, smart products, small home appliances, and lifestyle electronics.
- Identify and develop reliable manufacturers and suppliers.
- Request quotations, samples, specifications, and product information.
- Compare products by quality, features, specifications, pricing, and market potential.
- Negotiate pricing, minimum order quantities, payment terms, and other commercial conditions.
- Coordinate samples and support new product selection and development.
- Monitor competitors and market trends.
- Maintain supplier and product sourcing records.
- Follow up with suppliers from initial sourcing through order confirmation.
Requirements
- Previous experience in purchasing, product sourcing, or procurement is preferred.
- Electronics or gadget sourcing experience is a strong advantage.
- Good knowledge of and interest in electronics and new technology.
- Strong product research and supplier-finding skills.
- Good negotiation and communication skills.
- Strong English communication.
- Ability to compare technical specifications and identify commercially viable products.
- Ability to work independently with an energetic and proactive approach.
- Experience with international suppliers or manufacturers is preferred.
- UAE experience is an advantage.
Compensation
- Pay is AED 3,000 to AED 4,000 per month.
Workplace
- Work location is in person.
