Role Overview
Oskar Group is seeking a detail-oriented and responsible Junior Accountant.
The role supports daily accounting and financial activities and requires accurate financial recordkeeping.
Key Responsibilities
- Record daily sales, purchases, receipts, payments, and expenses.
- Prepare invoices, vouchers, and accounting documents.
- Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Perform bank, cash, customer, and supplier reconciliations.
- Follow up on outstanding customer payments.
- Verify supplier invoices and supporting documents.
- Maintain petty cash records.
- Assist with monthly financial reports, VAT documentation, and filing.
- Maintain organized accounting records and coordinate invoice and payment matters with other departments.
- Assist the senior accountant with audits and month-end closing.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
- Minimum 1–2 years of accounting experience.
- Basic knowledge of UAE VAT and accounting procedures.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Experience with Tally, QuickBooks, Zoho Books, or similar accounting software.
- Strong attention to detail, numerical accuracy, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Candidates currently available in the UAE are preferred.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in trading, retail, electronics, or warehouse operations is preferred.
- Knowledge of inventory and purchase accounting is preferred.
- Immediate availability is advantageous.
Compensation
- Pay is AED 3,000 to AED 4,000 per month.
Work Location
- Work is performed in person.
