Job Overview

  • We are looking for a Purchase officer. The candidate must meet the following requirement.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of UAE experience in procurement/purchasing.
  • Experience in the Construction, MEP, or EPC industry is mandatory.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the end to end procurement process for construction, MEP, and EPC projects.
  • Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to obtain the best commercial and technical offers.
  • Prepare and issue purchase orders while ensuring compliance with company procurement policies.
  • Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and site teams to understand material requirements and delivery schedules.
  • Monitor supplier performance and ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.
  • Conduct price comparisons, cost analysis, and vendor evaluations to achieve cost effective procurement.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with approved suppliers and identify new sourcing opportunities.
  • Resolve procurement related issues, including delivery delays, quality concerns, and supplier disputes.
  • Maintain accurate procurement records, contracts, and vendor documentation.
  • Support inventory planning and ensure the timely availability of materials to avoid project delays.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of UAE procurement experience in the Construction, MEP, or EPC industry.
  • Strong knowledge of the UAE supplier market and procurement practices.
  • Experience in negotiating contracts, pricing, and commercial terms.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems (such as SAP, Oracle, or similar procurement software) is preferred.
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple procurement activities and meet project deadlines.

  • Strong commercial awareness and cost optimization abilities.
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast paced project environment.
