Responsibilities
- Research and source new products in electronics, mobile accessories, gadgets, and home appliances
- Identify, evaluate, and develop relationships with new suppliers, particularly from China
- Communicate with suppliers regarding product specifications, pricing, MOQ, lead times, and shipping arrangements
- Request, collect, and coordinate product samples for evaluation and approval
- Compare products, suppliers, prices, and quality to recommend the best sourcing options
- Coordinate with management to obtain approval for new products and suppliers
- Monitor market trends and identify innovative products with strong sales potential
- Negotiate pricing and purchasing terms with suppliers
- Prepare purchase orders and maintain procurement records
- Follow up on production, shipment schedules, and delivery timelines
- Maintain supplier databases and sourcing documentation
- Work closely with sales, marketing, and technical teams to support product selection and launches
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Procurement, or a related field
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or product sourcing
- Experience dealing with Chinese suppliers and international sourcing is preferred
- Knowledge of electronics products, gadgets, mobile accessories, and home appliances is an advantage
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Good analytical and research abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
