Job Overview
- International Community Schools (ICS) Al Mushrif is seeking a Psychology Teacher for Cycle 3 (High School: Grades 9 12) to join the academic team for the American curriculum school in Abu Dhabi.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Psychology or closely related field from an accredited university.
- Master's Degree in Psychology or Education is highly preferred.
- Valid professional teaching license/certification in Secondary Education with Psychology endorsement.
- Relevant academic transcripts must be attested as per UAE Ministry of Education requirements.
Experience Requirements
- Minimum of 2 3 years full time teaching experience in Psychology at high school level (Grades 9 12).
- Demonstrated experience teaching American curriculum and US standards for Psychology.
- Experience with AP Psychology curriculum and proven track record of student success in AP exams is a significant advantage.
- Previous experience in an international school setting, particularly in UAE or Middle East, is highly desirable.

UAE Specific Requirements
- Full compliance with ADEK regulations and professional standards.
- Willingness to undergo ADEK teacher licensing and approval process.
- Understanding of and respect for local culture and traditions of UAE.
- Ability to meet UAE visa requirements and pass criminal background checks.
