- Work as part of a multidisciplinary team alongside psychiatrists, therapists, and other specialists
- Supervise support staff assisting in psychological assessment and intervention
- Attend educational events such as conferences and training seminars
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years relevant experience in a clinic/outpatient setting specializing in eating disorders
- Must hold DHA license or eligibility
- Excellent communication and English language skills
- Ideally already locally based in UAE with residency visa
- Must be able to join within 3 months

Job Overview
- Innovations Global is recruiting for several clinics and mental health projects across the UAE, now in need of an Eating Disorders Specialist Psychologist to be based in a premium busy location in Dubai.
Primary Responsibilities
- Assessing and diagnosing abilities or behaviour by conducting clinical assessment, interviews, liaison with families or carers and applying psychometric tests
- Applying and interpreting standardized assessment scales or measures, and preparing comprehensive psychological and psycho educational assessment reports
- Providing appropriate therapy based on the individual needs
- Leading group therapy of different age groups and levels of functioning
- Working as part of a multidisciplinary team alongside Psychiatrists, family therapist, Social Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Nurse, Developmental Pediatricians, and Teachers
- Working with outside organisations to provide recommendations and advice regarding individual needs based on the outcome of the assessments
- Supervising support staff assisting in psychological assessment and intervention
- Attending educational events such as conferences, and training seminars as required
Qualifications & Experience
- MUST have at least 3 yrs relevant experience (ideally in Dubai) in a Clinic / Out Patient setting, specializing in Eating Disorders
- MUST hold DHA license or eligibility
- MUST have excellent communication and English language skills
- IDEALLY already locally based in UAE with residency Visa
- Overseas based candidates will be considered for International relocation (subject to Visa eligibility) if coming from the UK, Ireland, Europe, USA, Canada, South Africa, Australia and New Zealand
- Must be able to join within 3 months
