Project Site Manager

Position Summary

Site Leadership and Construction Management

• Lead site activities for liquid cooling and containment installations and manage daily construction operations against schedules and milestones.
• Coordinate site teams, subcontractors, supervisors, and foremen while maintaining responsibility for productivity, progress, and workmanship.
• Ensure work follows approved drawings, specifications, method statements, and project procedures.
• Coordinate with the Project Manager and Project Director and remove execution constraints.

Project Planning and Scheduling

• Develop detailed look-ahead plans and short-term execution schedules.
• Coordinate construction sequencing with clients, consultants, general contractors, and other trades.
• Monitor progress against baseline schedules and recovery plans.
• Ensure labor, materials, tools, and equipment are available for planned activities.

Mechanical Installation Management

• Oversee liquid cooling distribution systems, chilled-water piping, manifolds, distribution headers, isolation and control valves, and piping supports.
• Manage installation of hangers, seismic bracing, flexible connections, specialized fittings, hot aisle containment, cold aisle containment, and rack-level cooling infrastructure.
• Ensure installations meet project specifications and manufacturer requirements.

Health, Safety and Environment

• Promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with project HSE requirements and local regulations.
• Conduct site safety inspections and toolbox talks and review risk assessments and method statements before work starts.
• Control lifting, work-at-height, confined-space, and pressure-testing activities and support incident and near-miss investigations.

Quality and Interface Coordination

• Coordinate inspections with QA/QC teams and client representatives and verify readiness for testing and commissioning.
• Resolve nonconformances and punch-list items and support quality audits and client inspections.
• Coordinate with general contractors, mechanical and electrical contractors, commissioning teams, clients, consultants, and equipment vendors.
• Manage work interfaces, minimize disruption, and communicate construction priorities.

Resources and Commercial Support

• Manage site manpower, supervisors, subcontractor resources, personnel allocation, equipment, material consumption, and site logistics.
• Monitor labor productivity and forecast future workforce and resource requirements.
• Support cost control, budget and productivity monitoring, change-order reporting, and subcontractor performance and claim evaluations.

Testing, Commissioning and Handover

• Coordinate construction completion and readiness for testing activities, including flushing, pressure testing, leak testing, system validation, commissioning, and client handover.

Requirements

• Lead and coordinate on-site construction activities for liquid cooling and air-containment systems in data center projects.
• Ensure mechanical installations comply with approved drawings, specifications, method statements, quality standards, and manufacturer requirements.
• Maintain compliance with project HSE requirements and local regulations, including controls for lifting, work at height, confined space, and pressure testing.
• Coordinate construction readiness for inspections, testing, commissioning, and client handover.
