Project Site Manager

Position Summary

Site Leadership and Planning

• Lead site activities for liquid cooling and containment system installations.
• Manage daily construction operations against schedules and milestones.
• Coordinate site teams, subcontractors, supervisors, and foremen.
• Develop look-ahead plans and short-term execution schedules.
• Coordinate sequencing with clients, consultants, general contractors, and other trades.

Mechanical Installations

• Oversee liquid cooling distribution systems, chilled water piping, manifolds, headers, valves, supports, hangers, and seismic bracing.
• Oversee flexible connections, specialized fittings, hot aisle containment, cold aisle containment, and rack-level cooling infrastructure.
• Ensure installations meet project specifications and manufacturer requirements.

Health, Safety and Environment

• Promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with project HSE requirements and local regulations.
• Conduct site safety inspections and toolbox talks.
• Review and approve risk assessments and method statements before work begins.
• Control safe lifting, work-at-height, confined-space, and pressure-testing activities.
• Lead incident and near-miss investigations when required.

Quality Management

• Ensure work complies with approved quality requirements.
• Coordinate inspections with QA/QC teams and client representatives.
• Verify readiness for inspections, testing, and commissioning.
• Resolve NCRs and punch-list items and support quality audits and client inspections.

Coordination and Resources

• Coordinate with general contractors, mechanical and electrical contractors, commissioning teams, clients, consultants, and equipment vendors.
• Manage work interfaces to reduce disruption and construction conflicts.
• Manage manpower, supervisors, subcontractor resources, materials, equipment, and site logistics.
• Monitor labor productivity and forecast future resource needs.

Commercial and Handover Support

• Support cost control, budget and productivity monitoring, potential cost-impact reporting, change orders, subcontractor performance evaluation, and claims review.
• Coordinate construction completion, flushing, pressure testing, leak testing, system validation, and readiness for handover.

Work Environment

• The role is an on-site leadership position within data center construction projects.

Requirements

• Experience leading on-site construction activities for liquid cooling and containment system installations.
• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams, subcontractors, vendors, consultants, and commissioning teams.
• Ability to execute construction work in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, method statements, and project procedures.
• Knowledge of HSE requirements, local regulations, safe lifting, work-at-height, confined-space, and pressure-testing controls.
• Experience coordinating inspections, testing, commissioning, NCR resolution, and punch-list completion.
• Ability to manage site manpower, subcontractor resources, material consumption, and equipment allocation.
• Experience supporting cost control, budget monitoring, change orders, and subcontractor claims.
