About the Role
Nicholas O'Dwyer is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the Design & Build of Water Networks in Amman, Jordan. Requirements
- Minimum 15 years relevant post graduate experience, including at least 5 years delivering Design & Build water infrastructure projects under similar conditions
- Degree qualified (BSc minimum) in Civil Engineering, Water Engineering, or other relevant engineering discipline
- Proven experience managing major water infrastructure and water network projects, including pipelines, reservoirs, pumping systems
- Strong experience in Design & Build (D&B) project delivery
- Demonstrated experience administering projects under FIDIC contracts, preferably Yellow Book
- Experience working on World Bank, AFD, or other IFI funded projects essential
- Experience managing multidisciplinary and multicultural teams in international environments
- Strong stakeholder and client relationship management experience

Project Overview
- Nicholas O'Dwyer is seeking an experienced Project Manager to support the Design & Build of Water Networks in Amman, Jordan.
- The successful candidate will lead the delivery of water infrastructure works including water networks, reservoirs, and associated infrastructure.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the delivery of the Design & Build water infrastructure project.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering, environmental, and construction teams.
- Liaise with contractors, stakeholders, and funding institutions.
- Oversee programme, quality, risk, budget, and project delivery.
- Manage contractor performance, technical submissions, and project reporting.
- Ensure compliance with Employer Requirements, FIDIC contract obligations, and project KPIs.
- Support stakeholder engagement, procurement, contract administration, and claims management.
- Ensure compliance with Environmental & Social Framework (ESF) requirements.

- Undertake additional duties as reasonably required.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required
- Minimum 15 years relevant post graduate experience, including at least 5 years experience delivering Design & Build water infrastructure projects under similar conditions.

- Excellent contract administration and commercial awareness.
- Competent in office packages, Microsoft, Excel, PowerPoint etc.
- Good time management skills, with the ability to prioritise work and manage many tasks concurrently.
