About the Role

- Administer construction contracts in line with project requirements

- Measure and verify quantities of completed works

- Provide commercial and contractual advice to the Client

- Prepare financial reports, forecasts, and claims assessments
- Coordinate with engineering teams on variation impacts
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related discipline
- Minimum 15 years experience in contract administration / QS roles
- Strong experience with FIDIC or similar contract frameworks
- Proven experience in large infrastructure or water projects
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and reporting skills
- Chartered status (e.g. MRICS or equivalent) is desirable

Role Overview
- Lead all commercial and contractual aspects of a major water infrastructure supervision project.
- Focus on contract administration, cost control, claims management, and financial reporting.
- Ensure the Client's interests are protected throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Administer construction contracts in line with project requirements.
- Review and certify interim payments and final accounts.
- Measure and verify quantities of completed works.
- Assess and manage variations, claims, and contractual disputes.
- Provide commercial and contractual advice to the Client.
- Maintain full contractual documentation and records.
- Support procurement and tender evaluation processes.
- Monitor project costs and identify financial risks.
- Participate in progress meetings and provide commercial updates.
- Prepare financial reports, forecasts, and claims assessments.
- Coordinate with engineering teams on variation impacts.
- Undertake additional responsibilities as required.
Key Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related discipline.
- Minimum 15 years experience in contract administration / QS roles.
- Preferably a Postgraduate Diploma in Contract Administration.
- Strong experience with FIDIC or similar contract frameworks.
- Proven experience in large infrastructure or water projects.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and reporting skills.
- Chartered status (e.g. MRICS or equivalent) is Desirable.
- Strong understanding of procurement strategies and dispute resolution.
- Strong project management skills, including ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
