Role overview
Binnie is seeking a Project Manager for its Transportation Major Projects Division.
The division provides Owner's Engineer services for planning, design, procurement, and delivery of major infrastructure projects in British Columbia.
This is a full-time position based out of the Burnaby office.
Your role
- Act as the main project contact for clients, stakeholders, consultants, contractors, and support staff.
- Manage major transportation engineering projects for Owner's Engineer or Design teams.
- Provide direction to staff and subconsultants.
- Engage in business development and lead proposals.
- Develop schedules, coordinate resources, and monitor project budgets and progress.
- Support clients proactively and anticipate project needs.
- Oversee quantity management systems and engineering design standards.
What you bring
- At least four years of related technical experience in transportation engineering or project management in a civil engineering environment.
- P.Eng. registration is preferred.
- Experience presenting to internal and external stakeholders.
- Valid Class 5 driver's licence and personal vehicle.
