Binnie is looking for an Inspector to join our Infrastructure Langley Division, which provides professional civil engineering services for local municipalities.
Typical projects include road and utility improvements and replacements, stormwater management, and erosion and sediment control.
This role is based out of our Langley office, but the work locations may vary across the Lower Mainland.
This role combines both field and office work.
You will work closely with both internal and external stakeholders to successfully deliver construction support services on municipal infrastructure projects of various sizes and complexities.
You inspect civil works throughout the construction progress on multiple projects, keep up-to-date construction records, evaluate constructed works, track schedule variances, prepare progress payment certificates, and assist Project Managers with contract management.
In the office, you contribute to the design side of the project delivery process.
You prepare construction details, quantity take-offs, and construction cost estimates while working closely with multiple project teams.
You will utilize your strong background in construction inspection to observe and inspect work and keep accurate, up-to-constructed information as work progresses.

The salary for this position is commensurate with experience; the salary range for this position is $70,490 – $102,500 annually.
