Project Manager – Supervision Consultancy ( Civil Engineer )

Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage supervision consultancy projects from mobilization through project closeout.
• Manage and supervise Resident Engineers, inspectors, QA/QC personnel, and technical supervision teams.
• Act as the primary point of contact between the client, contractor, authorities, and internal teams.
• Monitor project progress, quality, safety, and compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and contract requirements.
• Review contractor submissions, shop drawings, material approvals, method statements, and technical reports.
• Conduct site meetings, coordination workshops, and progress review sessions.
• Ensure proper implementation of project governance, reporting systems, and supervision procedures.
• Monitor contractor performance and identify risks, delays, and non-compliance issues.
• Coordinate with design and technical teams to resolve site-related technical matters.
• Prepare executive progress reports and support client decision-making processes.
• Ensure compliance with Saudi Building Code, authority requirements, and project standards.
• Maintain strong stakeholder communication and professional client relationships.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 15–20 years of experience in supervision consultancy and project management.
• Strong experience in large-scale governmental, infrastructure, mixed-use, or building projects.
• Proven experience managing multidisciplinary supervision teams within consultancy firms.
• Excellent knowledge of:

• Construction Supervision Consultancy

• Contract Administration
• QA/QC Procedures

• Risk & Schedule Monitoring

• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple project interfaces and high-level client coordination.
• Proficiency in:
• Primavera P6
• Microsoft Project
• AutoCAD

• MS Office Suite

• GCC/Saudi Arabia project experience is highly preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• PMP Certification is highly preferred.
• Experience with government entities and major development projects.
• Strong understanding of FIDIC contracts and supervision consultancy practices.
