Role Purpose

Project Manager

Key Responsibilities

• **Project Leadership & Planning**
• + Lead the planning, design, and execution of the new plant construction and site consolidation projects.
• + Develop and manage detailed project timelines, budgets, and resource plans.
• + Coordinate with internal stakeholders (local, regional, and global teams) and external partners (consultants, contractors, suppliers).
• **Execution & Supervision**
• + Oversee construction activities, ensuring compliance with design specifications, Sika standards, local regulations, and HSE requirements.
• + Conduct regular site inspections and progress reviews, addressing deviations, risks, and bottlenecks.
• + Manage contractors and subcontractors, ensuring quality, cost, and schedule commitments are met.
• **Stakeholder Management**
• + Act as the main point of contact for project stakeholders, including authorities, consultants, and vendors.
• + Report regularly on progress, risks, and financials to senior management.
• + Ensure alignment of project objectives with business needs and operational requirements.
• **Governance, Compliance & Safety**
• + Ensure all construction and consolidation activities follow Qatar’s regulatory requirements, Sika’s internal standards, and best practices.
• + Drive a strong culture of safety and sustainability throughout project execution.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of proven experience managing industrial construction projects, preferably in chemical, building materials, or manufacturing industries.
• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent certification is an asset).
• Demonstrated ability to manage multi-million-dollar projects within scope, budget, and timelines.
• Experience working in GCC/Qatar projects with knowledge of local regulations, standards, and permitting processes.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong command of English; Arabic is an advantage.
