Role overview
Join Zarpac as an experienced Project Manager supporting packaging line engineering, integration, and productivity projects.
Serve as the primary company contact for global Consumer Packaged Goods clients in a highly technical packaging automation role.
Core responsibilities
- Provide technical packaging expertise and support customer needs and inquiries.
- Review customer and vendor drawings and specifications.
- Manage customer and vendor changes, negotiations, project teams, schedule, and budget.
- Prepare installation documents, bills of materials, detail drawings, assembly drawings, and layouts.
- Validate final design documentation and drawings for completeness and accuracy.
- Lead site commissioning and equipment start-up.
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, engineering technologist qualification such as CET, or related qualification.
- Six to ten years of technical experience in engineering and project management.
- Experience in packaging or automation industries.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience with line layouts, equipment specifications, and mechanical design using AutoCAD.
- Equipment start-up and debugging experience.
