Role overview
ZPI is ProMach's software division, developing digital intelligence systems and cloud-native products for packaged goods manufacturing operations.
The Cloud Architect Engineer will lead the technical design and implementation of cloud-based products.
This is a hands-on role responsible for designing systems, building them, and owning them in production.
Architecture and design
- Design scalable, multi-tenant SaaS architecture from operational data ingestion through cloud services and customer-facing reporting.
- Define infrastructure patterns for multi-tenancy, data isolation, scalability, and security.
- Evaluate technology and platform options for long-term maintainability.
- Document architectural decisions and their rationale.
Cloud engineering
- Build, deploy, and maintain cloud infrastructure and backend components with the engineering team.
- Design and build reliable, secure, and scalable data pipelines from customer environments into the cloud.
- Establish CI/CD and Infrastructure-as-Code pipelines and apply cloud operational practices.
- Establish monitoring, observability, and reliability practices for production systems.
