About the Role
Lead bank-wide IT operational resilience initiatives for a leading Saudi banking client.
Drive disaster recovery readiness, business continuity management integration, cyber resilience, and continuity of critical business services.
Ensure alignment with Saudi Central Bank operational resilience regulations.
Responsibilities
- Lead planning and execution of operational resilience projects across business and technology domains.
- Coordinate with transformation, business continuity, cybersecurity, infrastructure, applications, risk, compliance, and internal audit teams.
- Ensure alignment with SAMA regulations and audit requirements.
- Manage resilience assessments, gap closures, disaster recovery drills, service continuity planning, and critical service mapping.
- Prepare steering committee reports, executive dashboards, and regulator evidence packs.
- Control project scope, budget, risks, dependencies, and vendor delivery.
Requirements
- At least 8 years of relevant experience in IT project management, banking technology delivery, operational resilience, business continuity, disaster recovery, infrastructure resilience, or regulatory programs.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Strong exposure to banking environments and regulatory frameworks.
Must-Have Qualifications
- PMP or PRINCE2 certification.
- Proven experience delivering resilience, business continuity, or disaster recovery programs in a regulated banking or financial services environment.
- Direct experience navigating SAMA or comparable central bank regulatory requirements.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications
- ITIL, ISO 22301, ISO 27001, CBCI, MBCI, or similar certifications.
- Prior experience in Saudi or GCC banking technology programs.
- Experience presenting directly to steering committees or regulators.
