Project Manager – IT Airline Operations (Operations Control Centre, Engineering, Flight Operations, In-Flight Operations)

Role Objective

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver projects from initiation through execution and handover to production.
• Ensure projects follow flydubai’s project management governance framework and PMO standards.
• Drive contingency planning and risk mitigation across assigned projects.
• Plan goals, milestones, and deliverables within approved budgets, timelines, and scope.
• Report progress, risks, issues, mitigations, and resolutions to project stakeholders.
• Manage package acquisition, in-house development, fixed-bid, and turnkey projects.
• Ensure project audit findings and non-compliance observations are resolved promptly.
• Meet resource demands and monitor accurate project timesheets and actuals.
• Complete project closure within one month after delivery, account for costs, and obtain sign-off.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, computer science, engineering, or an equivalent discipline.
• Five to seven years of experience with the stated qualifications.
• Fluent English.
• PMP or PRINCE2 certification.

Information Security Responsibilities

• Read and comply with company information security policies.
• Report information security weaknesses or incidents to the appropriate line manager or information security team.
