About the Opportunity
The Infrastructure Project Manager serves as a key deputy within the infrastructure team, leading the delivery of capital and infrastructure projects across ASC’s South Australian sites. The role is responsible for managing project scope, schedule, budget, quality, and risk throughout the project lifecycle, while supporting the Senior Project Manager in the successful delivery of ASC’s broader infrastructure portfolio. Contributing to strategic infrastructure planning and capability uplift initiatives, the position supports major programs and the delivery of ASC’s long-term infrastructure objectives.
Responsibilities
- Lead the planning and delivery of infrastructure and capital projects, managing scope, schedule, budget, quality and project performance objectives
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders, contractors and project sponsors, providing clear reporting on progress, risks and outcomes
- Identify and manage project risks and opportunities, implementing effective mitigation and contingency strategies
- Prepare business cases, CAPEX submissions and technical documentation to support project approval and investment decisions
- Lead, mentor and coordinate project team members, consultants and contractors, fostering a high-performance culture and ensuring successful project outcomes
- Provide technical and strategic advice to support infrastructure planning, capability uplift and continuous improvement initiatives
- Ensure projects are delivered in accordance with governance requirements, safety obligations and organisational objectives
About you
Qualifications in Project Management, Engineering, Construction Management, Business, Management, or a related discipline
8+ years' project management experience, ideally within Defence, shipbuilding, infrastructure, construction, or a similarly complex environment
Proven experience delivering complex infrastructure, facilities, or construction projects from planning through to completion
