Responsibilities
- Lead financial control projects focused on regulatory and financial reporting transformation
- Develop and manage end to end project plans, ensuring timely delivery
- Analyze data requirements and design reporting and calculation solutions
- Oversee testing activities, including UAT and validation of reporting outputs
- Support BAU activities across financial accounting and regulatory reporting
- Drive process improvements and eliminate inefficiencies in reporting frameworks
- Prepare and present project updates and status reports to senior stakeholders
- Identify, track, and mitigate risks, issues, and dependencies
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, governance frameworks, and regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with cross functional teams including Finance, Risk, IT, and external stakeholders
- Engage with senior stakeholders to align project objectives and delivery expectations
- Support system changes and regulatory updates across reporting processes
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree (mandatory for UAE work requirements)
- Proven experience in project management within financial control, reporting, or transformation environments
- Strong understanding of financial and regulatory reporting frameworks
- Experience working with senior stakeholders in a matrix organization
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
- Strong focus on controls, governance, and process improvement
- Ability to manage complex data and reporting requirements
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint)
- Knowledge of SQL or Python is an advantage
- Professional certifications such as ACA or CPA are preferred
