Project Manager / Design Site Supervisor

Role Overview

Design Supervision and Site Coordination

• Report to the Technical Designer or Technical Design Manager and work under their direction.
• Assist with site concerns requiring design clarification or coordination.
• Conduct weekly site visits for assigned projects.
• Ensure approved drawings and specifications comply with site implementation.
• Identify design deviations and initiate corrective action.

Quality Control

• Conduct regular quality reviews of finishes, joinery, detailing, and other site work.
• Ensure materials and workmanship meet approved standards and specifications.
• Report quality issues and coordinate timely rectification.

Project Coordination

• Act as the main point of contact for assigned projects.
• Coordinate with internal design teams, contractors, suppliers, and consultants.
• Identify and resolve design-related site matters with the Technical Design Manager.

Reporting and Documentation

• Prepare and issue project reports and minutes of meeting to clients and internal stakeholders.
• Maintain documentation of site observations, design issues, and agreed actions.
• Support inspections, snagging, and handover documentation as required.

• Ability to manage multiple assigned projects simultaneously.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• At least five years of experience in interior design project management or design supervision.
• Strong knowledge of joinery, finishes, and site coordination.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD is required, while Revit experience is advantageous.
• Familiarity with UAE fit-out processes and authority requirements.
• UAE experience and a valid UAE driving licence are preferred.
