Job Details

The position is titled Project Manager / Delivery Manager.

The role is based in Doha, Qatar.

Utility sector experience is mandatory.

The stated salary range is 25K QAR per annum.

Key Skills and Experience

  • A relevant full-time degree is required; a master's degree in a computing discipline is preferred.
  • Seven to ten years of relevant IT project-management experience is required.
  • Experience managing software and business-oriented projects in a complex utilities environment is required.
  • Experience delivering under fixed-price or outcome-based managed-services contracts with contractual SLAs is required.
  • Experience in public-sector or government-owned client governance is required; State of Qatar experience is an advantage.
  • The role involves IT project and delivery management, hybrid onsite-offshore delivery, SLA-governed managed services, and utility-sector work.
  • Azure DevOps is the client's primary application lifecycle management platform for boards, backlogs, sprints, dashboards, and delivery traceability.
  • Primavera, Unifier, and MS Planner are used for interfaces with the client project estate.
  • Reporting and analysis use Power BI and the Microsoft Office suite.

Certifications

  • Formal project-management certification is mandatory: PMP or PRINCE2 Practitioner.
  • Agile delivery certification such as PMI-ACP, SAFe Agilist, or an equivalent is preferred.
  • ITIL Foundation is desirable for the service-transition interface.
