Job Details

The position is for a Business Analyst in Doha, Qatar.

Utility-sector experience is mandatory for the role.

Compensation

  • The stated salary range is 24K QAR per annum.

Key Skills and Experience

  • Required areas include business analysis, requirements engineering, process modeling, requirements traceability, and utility-sector experience.
  • Experience with requirements management tooling and enterprise traceability practices is required.

Experience and Qualifications

  • A relevant full-time degree is required, while a master's degree in computing is preferred.
  • The role requires four to ten years of IT business analysis experience, depending on the assigned band.
  • Experience managing software and business-oriented projects in a complex utilities environment is required.
  • Experience coordinating onsite and offshore delivery across time zones is required.

Certifications

  • CBAP is preferred, with CCBA or PMI-PBA accepted as equivalent alternatives.
  • Agile analysis certification such as IIBA-AAC or CSPO is desirable.
  • A certification relevant to the assigned utility business area is advantageous.

Responsibilities

  • Perform business analysis and requirements engineering for assigned work.
  • Model business processes and maintain requirements traceability.
  • Manage software and business-oriented projects in a complex utilities environment.
  • Use enterprise requirements management tools and traceability practices.
  • Coordinate delivery activities across onsite and offshore teams and time zones.
