Job Description Summary

Roles and Responsibilities
- Serves as technical leader/manager to determine scope and plan engineering activities for customer projects.
- Provides technical leadership and serves as interface to bid management, cost estimation, partners, customers, GE Vernova Product Engineering, procurement, and engineering subcontractors.
- Develops expertise in own discipline; serves as resource for best practices/quality.
- Has knowledge of latest technical developments in own field.
- Contributes to strategy and policy development and ensures implementation in area of responsibility.
- Has in depth knowledge of best practices and integration of own area with others; has knowledge of competition and market differentiators.
- Uses judgment to make decisions or solve moderately complex tasks or problems in operations/product management, manufacturing, technology, or engineering.
- Considers existing solutions from a new perspective; uses technical experience and expertise for data analysis to support recommendations.
- Uses multiple internal and limited external sources outside own function to make decisions.
- Serves as resource for less experienced colleagues; may lead small projects with moderate risks and resource requirements.
- Explains difficult or confidential information; works to build consensus; develops persuasion skills to influence others on topics within field.
Basic Qualifications
- This role requires extensive experience. Knowledge level comparable to a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college.
