- Accountability for end to end engineering lifecycle, ensuring all technical deliverables meet QCT targets
- Integrating engineering activities with Procurement, Construction, and Commissioning
- Heading up multidisciplinary design teams (internal and external) to drive technical excellence
- Managing the Design Freeze process and technical scope boundaries among all project partners
- Overseeing resolution of complex technical interfaces between customer, partners, and third party contractors
- Maintaining control over engineering budget and workload, identifying and mitigating technical risks
- Ensuring all engineering deliverables adhere to contractual obligations and regulatory standards
- Acting as primary technical contact for Customer and local utility providers
- Securing timely design approvals through management of technical queries and customer comment cycles
- Ensuring Safety by Design principles and EHS requirements are embedded in engineering process
- Monitoring engineering performance through KPIs and driving continuous improvement
- Steering final documentation process (As Builts, O&M Manuals) and contributing to Lessons Learned
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- Minimum 7 years of experience heading up primary design activities in EPC environments (Transmission and Distribution, Power Generation, or Energy sector)
- Systematic understanding of international standards (IEC, IEEE, ANSI, NEMA, CIGRE) and regional regulations (SEC standards)
- Experience engaging with Saudi utility providers and clients
- Practical experience with HV GIS/AIS substations from 132kV to 400kV and above
- Successful track record in technical project management within multidisciplinary and international team environments
- Willingness to travel globally and work in various locations
- Professional fluency in English and Arabic
- Legal right to work in KSA without company sponsorship

Job Description Summary
- Head up and oversee all engineering activities within the project, ensuring sound adherence to Quality, Cost, and Time (QCT) delivery criteria.
- Manage design activities, the project engineering budget, and the design change process.
- Coordinate all technical tasks to ensure seamless technical integration for Grid Solutions projects.
- Ensure optimized, cost effective, and operationally efficient technical solutions are implemented.

Required Qualifications

- Demonstrated understanding of High Voltage and Medium Voltage equipment design review.
