Barminco is seeking an experienced and driven Project Engineer to join our team at the Great Fingall Operation on an 8/6 FIFO roster from Perth.
Reporting to the Project Manager, the Project Engineer plays a key role in supporting the safe, productive and profitable delivery of underground mining operations. Working closely with site leadership, technical services teams and the client, you will provide technical expertise, monitor operational performance, support cost management initiatives, and ensure mining activities are delivered in accordance with contract requirements and project objectives.

Bachelor's Degree in Mining Engineering.
Minimum 5 years' experience in underground hard rock mining operations.
Underground Supervisors Certificate of Competency or First Class Mine Manager's Certificate of Competency highly regarded.
Strong knowledge of underground mining methods, planning processes and operational performance management.
Demonstrated experience with budgeting, forecasting and cost control.
Experience liaising effectively with clients, technical services teams and operational personnel.
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with a focus on continuous improvement.
Ability to balance commercial outcomes with operational and safety requirements.
Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills.
Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement and relationship-building abilities.
Effective time management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
Senior First Aid Certificate desirable.
Current C Class Driver's Licence.
