The Opportunity: Barminco Mining Services Canada Ltd. has an exciting opportunity for an Electrical Foreperson to join our team at a project location 65 miles outside of Elko, Nevada. Reporting to the Maintenance Superintendent or designate, the successful candidate will be responsible for providing safe and efficient electrical services to our projects and clients. In providing this service, the role contributes to achieving Barminco’s purpose, principles and aspirations.

Site-based role in an active underground mining environment with frequent exposure to mobile equipment, confined spaces, low light conditions, dust, diesel exhaust, and high noise levels.
Work performed in ventilation-controlled areas where air quality may vary depending on production activity and equipment operation.
Ability to walk and stand for extended periods on uneven, wet, muddy, or rocky surfaces throughout the shift.
Capacity to bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, climb ladders, and work effectively within confined underground spaces.
Must be able to lift and carry materials weighing up to 50 pounds unassisted; heavier items lifted with mechanical assistance or team support.
Manual dexterity and good eye-hand coordination - Required
Visual acuity sufficient to distinguish colors, read markings, and operate safely in low-light conditions.
Auditory ability to hear alarms and verbal instructions and communicate effectively in high-noise environments while wearing required PPE.
Work performed on a rotational schedule with extended shifts (typically 12 hours) and compliance with site medical, respirator fit testing, drug and alcohol, and fitness-for-duty requirements.
Ability to do shift camp work on a rotational basis (Dayshift/Nightshift) minimum 12-hour days-Working statutory holidays as they fall within the rotation. - Required
