- Facilitate cross functional planning and project execution, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and meeting scope
- Monitor team schedules and ensure coordination of activities on the critical path
- Provide executive level program updates to senior management and executive sponsors
- Follow reporting and tracking programs to assure project is on target for schedule and cost
- Identify key issues and drive decisions to ensure project does not slip
- Identify key risks and prepare contingency plans
- Ensure projects follow the NPDI (New Product Development & Introduction) process
- Identify and lead continuous improvement projects
Requirements
- 3 5 years of experience in project management
- Experience in new product development project management in a manufacturing industry
- Experience in waterfall (stage gate) project management method
- Good communication skill in English
- Knowledge in risk management and risk response methods
- Idea about Gantt Chart schedule management
- Experience in communication management among stakeholders
- Experience in project KPI reporting
- Experience in project planning
- Demonstrated competence in problem solving, data analysis, project planning
- Experience leading cross functional meetings and presenting to small groups
- Ability to quickly develop cross functional relationships

Job Summary
- The Project Engineer is responsible for cross functional management of new product development and sustaining projects.
- Coordinates efforts of engineering, offering management, manufacturing, procurement, quality, order fulfillment, logistics, service, marketing, sales and other cross functional groups.
- Must build credibility, establish rapport, and maintain communication with project stakeholders at multiple levels.
