Project Engineer – Building Construction
We are looking for an experienced Project Engineer to join our construction team.
The ideal candidate should have good experience in building construction, site coordination, and project supervision.
Candidates currently in the UAE and available to join immediately are preferred.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily construction activities.
- Ensure work is completed according to approved drawings and specifications.
- Review construction drawings and coordinate with site teams.
- Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and engineers.
- Monitor project progress and ensure work is completed on schedule.
- Prepare daily and weekly progress reports.
- Conduct regular site inspections and check the quality of work.
- Coordinate material requirements and deliveries with the procurement team.
- Identify and resolve technical and site issues.
- Coordinate civil, structural, architectural, and MEP works.
- Follow up on inspections and approvals with consultants.
- Maintain project documents and records.
- Ensure compliance with HSE and company requirements.
- Assist the Project Manager with project planning and coordination.
Requirements
- Minimum 5–7years of experience as a Project Engineer in a building construction or contracting company.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- Good knowledge of building construction and site activities.
- Ability to read and understand construction drawings.
- Good knowledge of UAE construction practices and HSE requirements.
