Role Overview
Responsible for implementing and maintaining the construction project quality management system.
The role covers QA/QC activities across civil, architectural, structural, and electro-mechanical works.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and implement QA/QC policies and procedures.
- Conduct audits for ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and OHSAS 18001 and recommend corrective actions.
- Monitor policies and procedures and report areas requiring improvement.
- Review contractor quality plans with project and construction managers.
- Resolve QA/QC issues and coordinate closure of non-compliance reports.
- Perform daily inspections and testing for construction works on and off site.
- Verify site activities against approved method statements and inspection test plans.
- Maintain project QA/QC records, certificates, calibration data, test results, inspection requests, and site observations.
- Oversee quality and workmanship across civil, architectural, and structural activities.
- Develop method statements, risk assessments, job safety environmental analyses, inspection test plans, and checklists.
- Conduct scheduled internal site audits under the Project Quality Plan.
- Coordinate material submittals with contractor quality engineers for consultant review.
Requirements
- B.E. in Civil Engineering.
- 5 to 10 years of QA/QC experience in the construction industry.
- Technical awareness of civil, electro-mechanical, and architectural works.
- Strong organizational and motivational skills.
- Outstanding attention to detail and observation ability.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
