- Develop and implement document control strategies, policies, and procedures aligned with organizational objectives
- Oversee the setup, maintenance, and optimization of the Document Management System (DMS/EDMS)
- Ensure seamless integration of the DMS with other enterprise systems
- Provide leadership, direction, and performance oversight to the Document Control team
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance document workflows and system efficiency
- Ensure all project documentation complies with company policies, contractual obligations, and industry standards (e.g., ISO 9001)
- Conduct regular audits of document records to verify accuracy, traceability, and compliance
- Support internal and external audits by preparing documentation and compliance reports
- Implement corrective and preventive actions to address audit findings
- Maintain strict version control and audit trails across all projects
- Lead, mentor, and develop the Document Control team to achieve high performance standards
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide structured feedback
Requirements
- 10 12 years of experience in document control or related functions within construction or engineering environments
- Proven experience managing DMS or EDMS platforms
- Strong understanding of document control governance and compliance standards (e.g., ISO 9001)
- Demonstrated leadership experience in managing teams in fast paced project environments
- Knowledge of data security, information governance, and document protection best practices

Job Summary
- The Manager Project Document Control is responsible for leading the strategic direction, governance, and performance of document control functions across all projects.
