Purpose and Location

Project Leadership

• Lead the large cross-functional project delivery team and provide leadership to third-party team members.
• Oversee team performance, quality, timeliness, accountability, and performance gaps.
• Create a collaborative team environment with a common vision, clear expectations, and accountability.
• Oversee full project performance across planning, technical, fiscal, administrative, and supervisory functions.

Project Delivery and Controls

• Manage complex scope changes, project progress, reporting, and corrective actions.
• Coordinate integrated project execution plans covering engineering, HSE, quality, procurement, project controls, estimating, and construction.
• Manage execution, coordination, reviews, and controls to track project progress.
• Interpret project control reports, identify problem areas, and implement recovery plans.
• Analyze project schedules, identify adverse trends, take corrective action, and resource the project through forward planning.

Procurement and Workshare

• Manage equipment and materials procurement, subcontracting, materials planning, and multiple contracts.
• Apply Advanced Work Packaging for planning and delivery.
• Oversee successful workshare execution.

Technical and Industry Experience

• Senior-level relevant supervisory, project management, or technical experience in the Mining, Minerals & Metals industry.
• Experience leading workshare EPCM or EPC projects in multicultural and multinational environments, including site assignments.
• Experience using Worley project delivery methodology and associated tools for large complex projects.
• Experience overseeing large-scale projects with responsibility for full project performance.
• Experience completing a full project from start to finish and implementing engineered work in the field.

Qualifications

• Professional registration in the local jurisdiction is required.
• Program Management Professional certification from a globally recognized organization such as IPMA, APM, PMI, or AIPM is required.
• A university degree or equivalent in a related field or applicable discipline, or equivalent relevant experience, is required.
• Knowledge of cold-weather projects and the Newfoundland area is highly advantageous.

Compensation

• For applicants based in Ontario, the stated salary range is $208,509 to $258,509 CAD.
• Salary variation is determined by qualifications, relevant experience, geographic location, internal equity, and market conditions.
