Company Overview

  • Decima International is a professional services company providing project management and controls services to clients in the United States and the Middle East.
  • We are looking for a driven and capable Project Director to support us with the development of multiple Data Center projects for one of the top technology clients in the world.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Project Management: Lead and manage multiple engineering and construction projects from inception to completion
  • Project Oversight: Oversee all aspects of project management, including scope, planning, budget, execution, resource allocation, and closing
  • Procurement Management: Prepare, review, and manage RFIs, RFPs, and submittals
  • Risk Management: Develop and maintain a risk register, identifying potential project risks and implementing mitigation strategies
  • Daily Follow Ups: Conduct daily follow ups with project managers to monitor progress, address issues, and ensure milestones are met
  • Stakeholder Management: Maintain regular communication with stakeholders to provide updates and address concerns
  • Budget Management: Oversee project budgets, ensuring financial resources are utilized effectively
  • Compliance: Ensure all projects comply with local, state, and federal regulations, safety regulations, and company policies
  • Permit Management: Ensure all necessary permits and approvals are obtained and maintained
  • BIM Coordination: Oversee Building Information Modeling (BIM) processes and coordinate with project teams
  • Foster strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers
  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of project managers

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field
  • 20+ years of experience in construction project management, with a focus on GCC & MENA construction
  • Fluency in English is a must
  • Strong understanding of engineering principles, construction methods, and industry best practices
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Knowledge of relevant regulations, codes, and safety standards
  • Proven experience in managing a team of project managers
  • Strong knowledge of RFP preparation and management
  • Expertise in risk management and maintaining risk registers
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in project management software and MS Office Suite
  • Strong analytical and problem solving abilities
