Position Summary
The Project Coordinator will join Ventana Construction Corporation's Special Projects division.
The role supports construction projects from administrative and business perspectives while working with Project Managers and Construction Superintendents.
The position contributes to on-time, quality project completion, efficiency, cost control, and stakeholder relationships.
Key Accountabilities
- Review project documents, drawings, contracts, and specifications and inform the team about potential issues or conflicts.
- Plan and manage daily operations and construction schedules while monitoring project progress.
- Prepare contracts and negotiate revisions, changes, and additions to contractual agreements.
- Liaise with project teams, clients, consultants, and subcontractors.
Experience and Qualifications
- One to three years of construction coordination experience, preferably with a general contractor.
- Experience managing projects valued at approximately $10 million and below.
- Knowledge of commercial, multi-family residential, and industrial construction.
- Post-secondary education in Construction, Project Management, or a related course.
