Position summary
The Project Coordinator will join Ventana’s Special Projects division and support projects from administrative and business perspectives.
The role works closely with Project Managers and Construction Superintendents throughout construction to deliver quality buildings and services.
The coordinator supports on-time completion, efficiency, cost control, and relationships with project stakeholders.
Key accountabilities
- Review project documents, drawings, contracts, and specifications and identify potential issues or conflicts.
- Plan and manage daily operations and construction schedules while monitoring project progress.
- Prepare contracts and negotiate revisions, changes, and additions to contractual agreements.
- Liaise with the project team, clients, consultants, and subcontractors.
Experience and qualifications
- 1–3 years of construction coordination experience, preferably with a general contractor.
- Experience managing projects valued at approximately $10 million or less.
- Knowledge of commercial, multi-family residential, and industrial construction.
- Post-secondary education in construction, project management, or a related course.
