Job Summary

  • The Project co ordinator is responsible and accountable for the cross functional management of new product development and sustaining projects.
  • Coordinates the efforts of engineering, manufacturing, procurement, quality, production, logistics, and other cross functional groups to optimize time to Expedite NPDI projects.
  • Must build credibility, establish rapport, and maintain communication with project stakeholders at multiple levels.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate cross functional planning and project execution, ensuring the project is delivered on time.
  • Monitor project tasks to be done by other departments and ensure activities are finished on time.
  • Report project progress through schedule update, to assure the project is on target for schedule.
  • Identify key potential issues and escalate it to higher ups to ensure that the project does not slip.
  • Identify key risks and prepare contingency plans.
  • Adhere to the NPDI, New Product Develop & Introduction process.
  • Assist project team members as required.
  • Identify and lead continuous improvement projects.

Qualifications

  • Diploma with 3 years experience or Bachelors degree in Engineering with 2 years experience, or other technical degree.
  • Proven ability to communicate & negotiate with people in various level to accomplish tasks.
  • Competence in problem solving, follow, report preparation and update.
  • Experience in conducting meeting to ensure the progress.
  • Ability to quickly develop cross functional relationships to achieve project execution.
  • Results oriented with proven ability to accomplish goals.
  • Knowledge with Microsoft Office 365 applications, Microsoft Project, & Smartsheet.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively communicate at all levels of the organization.
