Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and manage integrated master schedules covering all phases of project delivery
- Establish project baselines, conduct critical path analysis, monitor schedule performance, and implement mitigation plans
- Oversee all project cost control activities including budget development, cost tracking, forecasting, and financial reporting
- Manage project performance measurement systems and develop dashboards, KPIs, and earned value metrics
- Lead project risk and change management processes, facilitate risk workshops, and maintain risk and change registers
- Manage project controls activities for Data Centre infrastructure including long lead equipment tracking
- Work closely with project directors, construction managers, engineering teams, and client representatives
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or related discipline
- Minimum of 15 years of project controls experience
- Significant experience supporting large scale Data Centre, mission critical, industrial, or complex infrastructure projects
- Strong expertise in project planning, cost control, forecasting, earned value management, risk analysis, and change management
- Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6, Oracle Primavera Cloud, Microsoft Project, Power BI, and related project controls software
- Professional certifications such as PMP, PMI SP, PSP, CCP, or equivalent are an advantage

Your Impact
- Jacobs is seeking an experienced Project Controls Manager to lead and manage all project controls activities for large scale Data Centre construction projects.
Project Planning and Scheduling
- Develop, maintain, and manage integrated master schedules covering all phases of project delivery.
- Establish project baselines, conduct critical path analysis, monitor schedule performance, identify potential delays, and implement mitigation and recovery plans.
- Facilitate planning sessions and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.
Cost Management and Forecasting
- Oversee all project cost control activities including budget development, cost tracking, forecasting, accrual management, and financial performance reporting.
- Monitor project expenditures against approved budgets, conduct variance analyses, prepare EAC and ETC forecasts.
- Collaborate with commercial and procurement teams to evaluate variations, claims, and contractual changes.
Progress Measurement and Performance Reporting
- Manage project performance measurement systems to monitor progress against approved plans.
- Develop and maintain project dashboards, KPIs, earned value management metrics, and executive reporting tools.
- Prepare and present comprehensive project reports to senior management and clients.
Risk and Change Management
- Lead project risk and change management processes by identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks.
- Facilitate risk workshops, maintain risk and change registers, evaluate schedule and cost impacts.
- Manage change control procedures ensuring all approved changes are documented and incorporated.
Data Centre Construction Controls
- Manage project controls activities for mission critical Data Centre infrastructure.
- Monitor procurement, delivery, installation, and commissioning of long lead equipment.
- Track critical milestones related to energization, integrated systems testing, commissioning, and handover.
Stakeholder Management and Project Coordination
- Work closely with project directors, construction managers, engineering teams, contractors, and client representatives.
- Participate in project review meetings, provide schedule and cost performance updates, and support strategic decision making.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 15 years of project controls experience including significant experience supporting large scale Data Centre, mission critical, industrial, or complex infrastructure projects.
- Strong expertise in project planning, cost control, forecasting, earned value management, risk analysis, and change management.
- Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6, Oracle Primavera Cloud, Microsoft Project, Power BI, and related project controls software.
- Professional certifications such as PMP, PMI SP, PSP, CCP, or equivalent will be considered an advantage.
