About the Role
Jacobs is hiring a Graduate Wet Utilities Engineer in Dubai to assist in designing water supply, sewage, and drainage networks. The role requires a Bachelor's degree in civil/chemical engineering and familiarity with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, WaterGEMS, and SewerGEMS.

- Build analytic and design skills under supervision of an experienced engineer
- Conduct engineering design under supervision
- Collect and analyze data under supervision
- Use computer software as a tool for solving basic engineering problems
- Assist in the design and development of wet utilities systems, including water supply, sewage, and drainage networks, pumping stations
- Collaborate with senior engineers on project planning and execution
- Prepare technical drawings and specifications using AutoCAD or similar design software
- Coordinate with BIM/CAD teams to develop and review utility layouts, profiles, and cross sections
- Perform basic engineering calculations and analysis related to wet utilities systems
- Support the preparation of reports, proposals, and other technical documents
- Participate in multidisciplinary coordination and assist in resolving design clashes and interface issues
- Support project deliverables, authority submissions, and ensure compliance with relevant standards and guidelines
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in civil/chemical engineering or a related field
- Familiarity with engineering software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar, WaterGEMS and SewerGEMS
- Academic knowledge of wet utilities systems and engineering principles
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Good communication skills in both written and spoken English
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Understanding of UAE water regulations and standards is advantageous
- Internships or academic projects related to wet utilities are desirable

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in civil/chemical engineering or a related field
- Familiarity with engineering software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar, WaterGEMS and SewerGEMS.
- Academic knowledge of wet utilities systems and engineering principles
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
